Does anyone travel from Leeds area to Heckmondwike Grammar School?

Hi everyone,

My daughter has passed the Heckmondwick grammer school Exam and she has got a place in the school starting from Sep'19. However, I am now panicking how she will get there. By bus it is almost 1.5 to 2 hours of travel one way, so does anyone know if there is school bus or a bus that parents pay for that picks up in the Leeds? Any advice/help would be appreciated? Anyone else in this situation maybe we could sort something out re: car share Or taxi?

I'm also interested in this. We are looking to sit the exam this year so may be in the same position next year.... I hope!

Hi, my daughter has passed the heckmondwike entrance test and gas been offered a place. We are facing the same problem. We are placed in Whinmoor. Would really appreciate any inputs.
