Hello there just wondered if there were any St Albans mums out there. I am mother to an 8 month boy. I have lived in St Albans for 12 years.

Would be lovely to hear from some other local mothers.

Love Helen

Have just moved back to St. Albans with my two year old little girl and would love to meet some other mums! I grew up here but things have changed so much since I left so it would be lovely to hear about all the child friendly things to do in the area too. Could also do with some coffee and a bit of girlie chat!

I was there last night for the Shakespeare in the park!
If I am around I will come along, might be a bit weird as I'm not at all obviously pregnant but I'm always up for meeting new people!

Tansycat · 29/07/2007 18:35

Thurs 16th sounds good to me. 2pm outside the Roman museum then if you can all make it. Do we need to wear red carnations or something??

Vicki xx

Just joined this site and seen this message but can't make it on 16th as have friends coming to play. Will keep an eye out for other meet ups though. I have 2 girls (eldest is nearly 5, youngest is nearly 2.5) and am pg with no3. Have lived in St A for nearly 5 years now.

Tansycat · 07/08/2007 22:05

Snorkycrumble - would be lovely to meet you too - the more the merrier! Let us know when you are free and if we book anything else we'll pop it on here!

Not sure if I have any flowers, may be able to find a sweet pea! Otherwise I'll be the one with the grey buggy and the child probably running in front of oncoming traffic grinning cheekily at me, while I'm screaming and diving across the road

chuckeyegg · 09/08/2007 15:55

love the name snorkycrumble, yes let us know when your free i'm sure we can arrange something again when you're free.

Will definitely try to make it - is that 2pm at the museum? Not sure what the weather is doing tomorrow though so I'm presuming there is a plan B for a rainy day! I'm a bit late so don't know if you will check this but let me know if you do! Vicki x
