I am new to mumsnet and would be extremely grateful if someone here can offer me some advice.
My partner and I are currently looking to move from Oadby to the Leicestershire countryside. We found a house in Frisby On the Wreake, which we really like. However, due to the nature of my job, should I ever change job, I would have to relocate to a different county. While changing job is not on the card at this moment, but I would like to know how sought after Frisby is in case we do have to move at some point in the future. I understand that the village has a schools that is currently regarded as ‘good’ by Ofsted. It is however not over subscribed as most students seem to travel in from nearby villages. Having said that, new housing by Bellway is currently nearing completion, which may see more family moving into the area.
If you kno Frisby, can you tell us what is it like to live there? Is there a strong community? Is it a popular village?
