WGC, Good area or bad?

Hi ladies, DH, DD and I are potentially moving to Digswell water but I hear bad things about Haldens (which is adjacent). Any advice on the area, (schools, parks, crime, anything!) Online forums on WGC always seem to be at least 5 yrs old. Thanks xx

Hi guys, I've lived in w.g.c most of my life (46 years). Don't think it's a bad place to live. You got king George playing fields it has a park, skate park, picnic areas etc and is great for dog walking. Campus west, roller skating, cinema, soft play and more. Gosling stadium, lots for kids to do. Regarding crime, every where you go something has probably happened so i wouldn't worry about that. In all it's a nice town. Look on Welwyn and Hatfield forum site for information. Digswell, very nice, I live not too far from Halldens.
