I am a mum who suffered an undiagnosed 3rd degree tear and has been left with bowel incontinence problems. There is a patient support session supported by MASIC being held at UHW on February 22nd between 11-2pm. It’s the first session of its kind in South Wales (that I know of lol).
This is part of a long term plan to provide an informal support group for mother’s who have experienced/are experiencing bowel incontinence after birth. The aim is to provide a meeting place to talk with other sufferers for support and a bit of understanding of living with incontinence.
