Moving to Halstead

Hi,

Moving to Halstead in June with my husband and daughter age 7 years. We have been overseas for the past 8 years and are now returning to the UK to live near family. However, this is a completely new area for us and it seems a lot has changed in the UK in the past 8 years. Rather nervously we are now looking at schools - any information on Primary schools in Halstead would be really appreciated along with any information on clubs - brownies, football etc.

This will be a big transition for our daughter who has never lived in the UK and we are trying/hoping that we get this right...

Any advice, information etc. greatly appreciated.

so in terms of schools, i would try to have a look round before you make your choice. halstead community primary has been rated 'good' by ofsted.

It's got a website. Lucky you; Halstead's nice. (I pop over there for lunch sometimes).
