Hi there.

Dh and I are planning a weekend getaway without the children later this year and I'm looking for recommendations for things to keep us amused.

We need a nice place to stay, hopefully quite central but not too expensive!

I'd also like some recommendations of good restaurants in central Edinburgh and some good activities (daytime and evening).

Not asking too much am I??????

Hi nailpolish,

We'd like a hotel really. One thats nice but not too expecsive - I'm probably thinking 3/4 star.

We're not really into art. I was thinking more along the lines of shows - musical, comedy?!?!?!

Some kind of nightlife - not really clubbing as it will just be the two of us but certainly somehwere with a bit of a buzz.
