If you're planning to go to ABC soft play on WInterstoke rd...

Then don't.

Went with ds yesterday, lasted 20 minutes (half of which was changing his nappy).

Place was filthy and dank (and that's by soft play standards).

Under 4's were not allowed on the soft play equipment (including ball pool). They had some dirty toddler group style toys to play with (not that I have anything against toddler groups, I just expect soft-play to be well soft-play). Oh and included ride on things you needed to put money in (like outside supermarkets).

Several parts of the equipment were badly boarded off.

Cafe was filthy and unstaffed (you had to go all way out to reception to get someone to serve you). Jugs of squash etc uncovered.

Baby change was filthy - nappy bins overflowing and suchlike.

The stench of the place was unbelievable and made me gag (and my sense of smell isn't that strong). It was so strong I couldn't actually smell ds dirty nappy when it was in my face.

IT is truly a complete shitehole. I wouldn't go back if you paid me.

Try Play Space off St Phillip's Causeway. It's only been open a few weeks and sparkly clean and lovely AND sells healthy food for heaven's sake.

Due to the success of Music Bugs at St Augustine's church hall in Whitchurch they have just started a new baby class (under 18 months) and have some places left. For a free trial session call Melanie on 0844 578 1012 or email: [email protected]. Other venues also available around Bristol. For fun, lively music, singing, props, rhymes etc see for yourself

Tiny Tearawayz in Knowle is also really lovely. Very clean, well supervised with friendly staff as well as a good, affordable cafe.

It's in Broadwalk shopping centre on Wells Road

FYI The Environmental Health have been notified and have a court case pending. They had a mouse infestation in the kitchen! The food hygeine regulations have been breached with other issues and they have breached H & S with no supervision in the main play area as often not staffed. Hope th place shuts down, it is a health hazard!

Such a shame that Planet Kids shut down
