Hi there,

Just wanted to post a message here as I don't think I am the only one pregnant woman in Hackney at the moment...?!!
I am currently 4 months (first one), EDD 11 Dec and planning to have the baby at the Hommerton..

Both me and my partner, specially my partner, are slowly adjusting to the idea of a 3rd person 'moving in' with us. Its a good excuse to use when getting rid of some of my husbands years collection of empty boxes and old clothes!!!

Whats your story?

/M

Hello everyone,

Just posting a little note to say that I am still alive and still pregnant, in fact will be 25 weeks this week.

Amongst work and doing a bit of study, the baby has got encredible active lately making my belly feel a little sore from time to time. I am also finding that I am having to go to the toilet during the night more then I did in my first 3 months!! I wake up almost hourly during the night now running to the toilet! I am getting used to this though, but its tiring and a constant catch up on sleep. I guess I am just preparing for the real test of tiredness to come

Besides from this I have started to look pregnant, went through a period where I looked strangely bulging in all other places but my belly..!! but now that there is nearly no doubt, people are actually giving up their seat on the bus willingly! (which is all a bit of a relief). Noticing how my body is changing and how much more energy things are starting to take, having to conciously try and wind-down a little which is quite a good thing!

How is everyone else doing?

Alfie72 - have you had your baby yet?

Alfie72 · 30/08/2007 00:58

Sorry, I have been away for ages, got myself on a long 232 person spread in the pregnancy section..back with you guys for a while !!

How is everyone doing ?

I must say I am starting to feel all abit cumbersome now and only three outfits to alternate. Good job I am on mat leave cos I'd be stuffed making a decision as to what to wear each morning !!

Hey guitar girl,
No,my LO hasn't arrived yet, although my EDD is 30/9/07 My baby is breech at 35 weeks and so I'll find out with a scan next week if I will be able to have a V birth or whether I'll need a c section. I was feeling a bit about the thought of missing out on the water birth I fancied and recovery post a c section but I am getting my head around it slowly...

I have tried loads of things to get the bubba to turn but to no avail so have decided that nature will take its course...

Mamnor- i can totally relate to the sore guts scenario, LO lying on my bladder and intestines and getting heavier and heavier.

Chat soon !!

Alfie

Hope all those expecting babies are doing well! I am very - I went back to work this week after 9 months maternity leave...

How is everyone? Alfie - have you had your baby and is/was he/she breech?

I've just started maternity leave - hurrah. My EDD is 17th October, from which you might guess that I've just changed my name (I was previously ruthydd, but decided it was time for a change).

I wonder if there is a connection between late pregnancy and ebay addiction. I've suddenly had a bit of a spree for only the second time in my life (last time was was the last time I was heavily pregnant).
