Another moving to York question

Hi, am looking at jobs in York. I have a 10 year old football mad son. Would he be able to stay in primary school - he will be 11 in july. Is there a good primary that feeds into a local secondary. I'm reading all the other threads too, TIA

If he’s 11 next July then he’s in year 6? So he’ll be starting secondary next September?

sorry should have said, I'm in Ireland. He has 2 more years of primary left after this year. they dont go to primary until 12/-13 here. I just dont think he would have a clue about going to secondary next september.

Oh I see. Didn’t realise it was so different there. Well if you move to England that’s where he would be going. He couldn’t stay in primary.
