Hope nobody minds me plugging a couple of charidee events coming up, both great for meetups or ladies' nights out.

Curry Night in Woolston
Monday 16th July, Tandoori Restaurant opposite the Tollbooth carparks
£20 a ticket, organised by CycleIndia2008 who is raising funds for Women For Women, which funds research into antenatal illness (I think.)

Picnic and Concert in the Park
Thursday 2nd Aug 7pm Palmerston Park bandstand (the one nr the Jurys Inn hotel)
Bring your own picnic and enjoy a free concert of gorgeous a capella harmonies (my own included ). There'll be a collection for Water Aid, which helps developing countries manage their own water supplies. Ideal rendez-vous before a night out in town.

Come on girls who is up for a curry night,. It would be so great to meet you all. Don't worry about coming on your own, as I am sure enough of us will be in the same boat.

So soory I could not make it. Was let down on baby sitting at too short notice. I hope it was a great night. those raffle proses sounded wicked.

Shame the owner of the restaurant was being a pig and took the edge off it... he reckoned it wasn't worthwhile for less than 40 and were trying to get me to pay for 40 instead of the 30 actually sold. Anyway Justin (my friends b/f) came with me, and I only took enough for 30, told them thats all they were getting, to which the owner replied, fine then we wont be doing anymore charity dinners!! A-holes!! So uncharitable!!

All in all made £435... so thanks again xxx
