What's wrong with Highfields Caldecote?

I found suddenly many people are selling their houses in Caldecote. Many of these properties look nice and spacious. I have been thinking of upsizing my house in Cambourne and Caldecote is somewhere I was considering. Now I am a bit concerned about this location. Is there something going on in Caldecote? Are people selling simply because of the many new builds there or something else?

Bourne airfield development?

Oops, Bourn - apologies to residents!

Thank you BlueChampagne for the info. But the new village is still smaller in size than Cambourne. Actually, most villages near Cambridge now have a quite large population. I just don't understand why people are leaving Caldecote.

I think possibly it's the fact that it doesn't have a village feel. There's no pub, no village shop, it feels like a dormitary village. I'd much rather live in Cambourne than Caldecote.
