My daughter will be attending Frewen College in Northiam( specialist school) im looking for advice on areas to move to with a maximum commute to Northiam( on the school bus) of half an hour. was looking at bexhill but thinking the commute would be long? My mum ( whos also moving wirh myself n my daughter) said the Bexhill is kind off an old peoples town?! Can anyone shed some light on this please.

Hey, I’ve lived in Northiam for nearly 13years now and it’s a lovely village- like most villiages it does face dramas but seems to be on the rise from crime, vandalism and general disruptive behaviour. This year I moved in with my boyfriend to Sedlescombe which again is a lovely village. A list of a few places I’d look into would be:
Westfield, Sedlescombe, hastings itself, brede, broadoak, rye and possibly staplecross/bodiam! These are all lovely places close to the coast and Frewen college. Good luck on the search!

I herd bexhill was either for newly weds or nearly dead! It is ok, bit too many charity shops but lots of supermarkets and beautiful seaside, if dull
