Well, if a few of us turn up here and start and East Sussex shout out, we might end up having a bit more to say. Hello to Cathcart, I'm in Eastbourne too, though my DD is now nearly 10! How are you finding the new mum thing? Enjoying your time at home? Do you work locally or was there a commute involved?
Best wishes with it all

Hello everyone, I have a son aged 7. Anybody else out there waiting to hear the outcome of the secondary schools adjudicator's decision? It's sure to happen soon! Anyone waiting for SATs results.....? Should 7 year olds be sitting exams? What do you reckon?

moulimoo · 11/07/2007 14:07

Hi, anyone in West Sussex out there........
I.m near Worthing, three dcs. dd4 and dts 21 months. Bit quiet round here!!

PestoMonster · 11/07/2007 14:11

Helloooo! I'm Brighton based and my dd1 (10) has gone off with the school on her first ever trip away today for 2 nights, to Pyke House near Battle. So am feeling a bit strange today, knowing I'll only be picking up dd2 (8) from school today.

Hoping she'll be alright...

SparklePrincess · 11/07/2007 20:13

Joys of working mums?

nellieloula · 14/07/2007 19:10

Hi everyone, I'm in Hove with my DS (2yrs) and one due in Oct. Does anyone else think Brighton and Hove has got noisier, or is it just me???? Maybe I'm just getting old!

tess1e · 20/07/2007 17:41

Yep, it does seem to have got a bit noisier, think there are lots more people than when I first moved here 13 yrs ago!

But that's not always a bad thing - new coffee shops, new resterants, new bars though must admit it's been forever since I went out - getting old too ;)

NYEm · 01/08/2007 16:43

Hiya to all Sussex mums. It's me up here in Keymer (between Ditchling and Hassocks) with 7 year old girl and 2 year old boy. The beach was lovely today and that playground by the west pier was extremely oversubscribed in this sunshine - ahhhh!

Mindles · 01/08/2007 16:44

Hello, can I join you? I'm in Burgess Hill, it's very close to Brighton!

Sherida · 16/08/2007 09:18
