Just embarking on round of sec school visits. Looking at all the allocation maps & criteria looks like this is our only option. Wondered if anyone had any first hand/inside knowledge. Went on a tour once (when we moved here) & had mixed feelings; outstanding ofsted, sweet polite kids, small size were good but doubts about facillities, bad reputation (is it justified?), some very old facilities (eg hall/science block), uninspiring exec head and downhearted by girls wearing pink uniform in 2018. I wondered if the good improvement scores are only because a few of the local primaries aren't great (in the context of me knowing zero about how these things work). I'd be grateful if anyone has any advice about it. Thanks
