There seem to be a few older posts from around 2013 about moving from London to the Broxbourne area so thought I may as well get some fresh opinions. We are moving from Enfield in North East London in the hope to find a bigger house with more space and good schools . Obviously , Sheredes is on our radar for our 4 and 1 year old and I know its over subscribed . We are looking to move around the Pulham Avenue area off Baas Lane so any advice re admissions would be very appreciated in terms of actual success of getting in . I know its not been inspected by Ofsted for a while, so any parents who have kids there at present , I would love to hear your thoughts on the school. Lastly , coming from quite a busy and built up area , I know Broxbourne has less going on within a walking distance however any assurance from you would be great that there is life beyond the inner London area locally would be nice too. Husband and I would be travelling into London for work so know the train line well as we use that one already from Enfield. However, I am really looking for a community feel ( not that where we live at present has that in abundance) but as our kids grow up , I find the inner London atmosphere more and more disgruntling ( I was born and have lived in East London for my entire life near enough) .
