Are you lot anywhere near Hale? My lovely cousin is running ante and post-natal exercise classes there (shameless plug )

Slubberdegullion · 29/10/2007 21:48

Oh what do I know, I live on the South Coast

bagpuss · 29/10/2007 21:53

Hello Slubber, we're in Cheshire too but not very near Chester, though we do go for the day sometimes .

Slubberdegullion · 29/10/2007 21:55

Where abouts?

bagpuss · 29/10/2007 22:02

We're about 15 mins from Crewe (not sure if I should say exactly where on here - its a small place!), but we used to live in Macclefield also.

Catnkids · 29/10/2007 22:44

Hello

Oooh I'd be interested in a get together!! Hope it happens! If I can help in anyway just let me know!

boogeek · 31/10/2007 20:25

I'm new to this area - in fact this is my First Ever MN Post! (I lurk but hadn't picked up there was a local section). I'm in Saughall, is that any good to anyone?

Slubberdegullion · 31/10/2007 20:36

Hi boogeek. Welcome to MN

There seems to be a few of us coming out of the wood work atm.

Keep your eyes peeled for a Chester Wrexham meet up thread, but I will link on this one (so it comes up in your threads I'm on) when we get round to organising one (hopefully this year)!

I'm in Christleton btw

mesaloca · 31/10/2007 20:38

Yep, I would def be interested, I'm in Waverton.

Slubberdegullion · 31/10/2007 20:49

oo er Richard, I thought you lived in Oxford?

Waverton has a new genetics and evolution facility now does it?

Hi All, I'd be up for a Chester drinks and conversation! I'm in Chester city, so anywhere's good for me. How bowt La Tasca? They do loads of mezze like food for around £4 per dish?

boogeek · 31/10/2007 21:30

Everytime I've been near la Tasca I've come away completely plastered - so I don't remember what the food is like but can vouch for the wine!

josoap1 · 01/11/2007 13:26

OP posts:
josoap1 · 01/11/2007 14:10

okey doke :-)how do you cope wth 2, my husband is now asking when we can have another, no chance of that just yet!

Slubberdegullion · 01/11/2007 14:15

lol, well you just muddle along in the same way you muddle along with one, there's just more of the same stuff really.

I think you need to be a bit more organised.

Oh and grow another set of eyes and arms. They're essential .

I always wonder how the mums on here with 5 or 6 dc cope. Now that must take quite some organisation and patience.

OP posts:
josoap1 · 01/11/2007 15:48

I just can't imagine how much organisation that must take! Anyway, take care, tara for now

superwitch · 01/11/2007 15:54

Hi everyone I'm near Cheshire Oaks! I have a 2 year old son and i'm pg with no.2 but only just!

PurpleFlower1 · 03/11/2007 16:30

Hello Everyone!

lol! Boogeek - I won't be able to sample the wine this time as I'm preggers, but the dishes are good too nibble on whilst you're chatting.

Were people thinking of a meet up before or after xmas, maybe in the new year?

Double buggy question
Can I ask a question of those mums with 2? My lo will be 26mths when my newborn comes along and I can't decide whether/what double buggy to buy. What did/does everyone else do? Be grateful for your thoughts/x

littleboo · 03/11/2007 16:33
