Does anyone have recommendations for Edinburgh (and surroundings) estate agents please?

We have spoken to a few but still undecided! We are keen for them to handle full selling process and also to handle buying as well.

Always helps to hear experiences from others... Thanks in advance.

I used Warners to sell and couldn't fault them in the slightest. Couldn't use them to buy because the seller was already using them.

We used VMH (Valente McCombie & Hunter) and they were excellent.

I also used Warners - a few years back mind - and they were awful!

My in laws have just sold with Simpson & Marwick and they have been exemplary. The house they are buying is being sold by Deans Properties and they have been terrible.

I think to be fair, a lot of it is down to individuals within companies. That said, when S&M discovered they were having to deal with Deans for the house purchase, they rolled their eyes!
