Thinking of moving to Buckshaw Village

Hi
We're thinking of moving to Buckshaw Village next year and wondered if anyone had the lowdown on what it's like to live there.
Is there a community feel, is it easy to make friends, what are the people like. The houses and schools all look great from what I've researched online, but it's hard to get a 'true feel' of the place online.
Planning on a visit in a couple of weeks.
Thanks

It's nice with a big variety in housing. Depending on which side you live you'll either qualify for Chorley/euxton or Leyland schools as they are different authorities. I know a lot of people were struggling to get into the Chorley high schools this year. There's good transport links and trains nearby to both the Manchester and Liverpool lines. Buckshaw has a good Aldi and a small Tesco. There's big supermarkets in both Chorley and Leyland.

Thank you, that's really good to know.
I'm also considering Euxton and other surrounding areas, but thought BV would be good as it seems to have lots of families living there.
