Name tapes

Our first year of school uniform and I know I will make a horrible job of sewing on nametapes. I really want to drop the tapes and the uniform off somewhere and pay someone to do it for me. Any ideas whether this service exists? I'm in Teddington but could easily use somewhere in Hampton,!Twickenham, Richmond or Chiswick.

I know this is not what you asked, but I use stick-on labels. They have survived years of washing, tumble drying and the dishwasher. I got them from easy2name.

I have a stamp. Best invention ever!

Yes, I have a stamp too! I sewed name tapes in when my oldest started reception many moons ago. It looked like the dog had done it. There's some brilliant inventions out there now, no doubt invented by frustrated mothers! I saw a name button the other day that attaches to clothes labels.

I used a Sharpie. I bought tapes too, when DD started school. I bought 100. I have 97 left and DD left school 6 years ago...Grin
