Moving to Basingstoke

Hi. Any advice would be appreciated.
We're looking at moving to Basingstoke. We've visited, but it's also great to get opinions of those who live or have lived there. Wondering about best areas to live and also recommend infant /primary schools. Many thanks!

I live in Basingstoke. I am not sure about schools yet (I have to send my boy to the closest one to where we happen to live), but Chineham is a nice area :) It's quite a nice town, but you might want to stay clear of Popley especially, and to some extent Oakridge.
