Consett

I've put an offer on a house in The Grove area, just outside Consett. Is it a nice area please? Is there anything for a sixty year old woman to get involved in and for dd in her twenties?

The Grove always had a bad reputation for being a rough area but from what I can gather it seems to be on the up. Its very close to Consett centre where there are a lot of activities taking place for all age groups.

Consett is a lovely place, loads of different things to do and since we moved up 2 years ago have found nothing but kindess
