Hi there
I'm a p/t time singer//musician with a day job I'm not enjoying. A good friend of mine in Cheshire has been taking her 11 month old to music/rhythm sessions for tots and is recommending it as something I should investigate doing as a performer.
I wondered if the lovely Mums of Worcestershire could tell me if they think there is a market for this here? The age range I'm thinking about is 1-4 years and I am thinking about doing classic children's songs (I play guitar) using props, giving them some little shakers/ tambourines to join in with, some rhythm exercises etc. I'd be delighted to hear any suggestions (songs, venues, what's out there already, what you think would work....basically, anything you could think of in this area!) to help me decide whether to make the 'jump' from 9-5 to a whole new career.
