Hi all.
I’m a 20 year old student, who will be returning to Birmingham after completing my second year at university in Nottingham.
Due to family circumstances, I need slightly more autonomy over working hours than a retail/bar job could offer. If anyone is interested in a babysitter or “nanny” type role during the summer holidays, I’d be very happy to offer my services around the Kings Heath or Moseley area. This can be a couple of days a week/evenings or whenever is needed.
I have plenty of experience with children, and have completed several placements across primary schools in Birmingham. My DBS should be completed shortly for a position I’m taking up in my third year of university.
Ideally, I’d be in a situation with between one and three children, where they are relatively self sufficient but need a responsible adult. I’m a good cook, take pride in keeping a clean/tidy house and am more than willing to take children on day trips to the park/cinema or any other forms of entertainment accessible via public transport.
If it was to be on a longer term basis rather than one-off babysitting, I’d like to meet parents and children before so that we can build up a rapport and outline mutual expectations.
