Ideas for the summer half-term

I had thought I’d be taking the kids to the park and going out and about this half-term so hadn’t planned for a week of rain.

I was just wondering what other people are doing? Are there any nice indoor activities going on? I’d rather not have the kids hanging around the house. Arts and crafts can only go on for so long!

Swimming! How could I have not thought of that!

We’re making smoothies today then bookmarks and possibly finishing some fairy lights that you decorate yourself (long lost birthday present that we only half did).

I love baking but dh is back on his diet and I don’t want to tempt him just yet Cake.

Dd has a 1000 piece puzzle she wants to do Shock and I’m trying to explain why it’s not a good idea whilst her 3yr old brother is awake.

Oooh the fairy lights thing sounds good. I hate craft activities but closed ones like that aren't quite so bad.
I can't imagine the jigsaw thing will go well with a 3 y old ShockShock I'm getting stressed just thinking about it!
Today is the 1st day of rain for us - it's been really sunny up until yesterday evening. Mine have earned some time on their tablet so that's this afternoon's entertainment sorted Grin
