Carter Knowle Junior School

Hi, We have put in an offer on a house in Millhouses and our catchment school is Carter Knowle Junior School which makes me a bit nervous as its Ofsted rating is Requires Improvement. My boy is bright and loves maths and science and will be bored if not stimulated enough. Are we making a mistake???
He is in year 4 and we would be 3rd on the waiting list for Dobcroft which looks like an awesome school.
Help!! Any advice would be very welcome...

I know people who've been happy with Carterknowle, but it's location is off putting on a very busy junction with no playing fields. If Dobcroft is a possibility I'd want to hold out for it in your situation.

Our catchment school is Carter Knowle primary & that is putting me off buying, wondered what happened with you last year? Did you manage to secure a place outside catchment area?
