Gad's Hill and the 11+

We're looking at Gad's Hill school for our 2 dd's (aged 6 & 8) and see that they don't prepare for 11+. What good local options are there if we need to change schools after Yr6 into secondary? Strood Academy's results are dropping and Kings Rochester is too expensive for us.

Also, it takes pupils up to GCSEs only, so what options are there for A-levels at 6th form if they don't get into local grammars (assuming grammar pupils stay where they are coming up the school)? Seems like a potentially unpredictable and disruptive system..any help appreciated.

Thomas Aveling in Rochester are fantastic. All three of my children have gone there and have come out with fantastic GCSE results and have gone on to stay at the 6th form to take A-Levels and again, fantastic results.

Staff are great and the school itself does very well during ofsted. Hopefully it's a school in an area you can get to with no problems. That would be my top suggestion.
