North Cestrian September 2018 intake

My DD will be starting North Cestrian in September but as we only moved to the area a year ago and she attends school near my workplace she doesn't have any local friends. She is also my only child, is there anyone local who will be starting there who wants to make friends in advance to starting in September. Happy for her to go to a community group they attend? I don't want to sound like a weirdo- just think it could be nice for her to make a friend before starting. We live just near Dunham Golf Club. (I've sent her to a few youth clubs/ holiday camps but all the kids are about 8/9 hence ending up on here again)

Hi this message isn’t a response to your question, but I read that your ds was going to North Cestrian and my son has just been offered a place there it wasn’t my first choice and I don’t know much about the school. I was wondering how you are finding it , if he does go there he will have no friends going with him they are all going elsewhere and I’m terrified that he’s going to hate it.

I wonder if either of you are able to answer my questions. Our Grandson just got in North Cestrian. He’s upset at being only one from his school who is going and I wonder how your children have settled. The smaller numbers are definitely more suited to him. Thank you.
