Moving to Long Riston

Wondered what your thoughts are? I'm slightly concerned it might be too rural for us since we are used to a town, and especially since I don't drive but I did check out the buses and they seem to run quite regularly. My DC are primary school age. We are definitely moving just having last minute wobbles.

Are you in East Yorks now? Hope you are settling in. Beverley has everything you need and is much nicer & closer than Hull.

Hi yes thanks Smile Beverley is lovely but there are no direct buses there I've discovered. We went to Hornsea the other day and the dc loved that.

Sounds great. Have a look at ERYC website for free activities they put on at the beach at Bridlington in the summer, also up at Sewerby Hall.

The Freeport at Hornsea usually has children's activities in school holidays.

All the museums in Hull are free. The Streetlife Museum is child-friendly. There is often something going on in East Park, Hull.

How have you found the move there?
