Moving to Perth, or Inverness

Hi
My 14 year old daughter and I are relocating from Hertfordshire at the end of May. I have job offers in both Perth and Inverness but need to take into consideration good secondary schools, best areas to live etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated x

Perth is much more central, much easier to travel to Dundee, Glasgow or Edinburgh for a day if you fancy a change of scenery. Inverness is nice but much more isolated, the A9 is notoriously bad in winter and even in summer seems to be closed due to accidents fairly frequently.

Perth. An hour from alll the major cities. Lots of nice bars and shops
