Edinburgh tattoo- tips/ fireworks

I've wanted to go to the Tattoo for several years. I'm going to make it happen this year!!

Is it worth going to the late night sat one for the fireworks.... or is it spectacular even without fireworks.

Any other tips for booking?

I went last year. I went for the later one on Saturday night so can’t comment on the earlier one. But the actual show has a lot of imagery using light as well as the fireworks at the end so I would go to the later one ( or one when it’s dark). The weekday shows have only one show and it’s dark by the time it ends too. It’s really worth it and I’m sure you will enjoy it!

Book very early! I went few years ago. It was great although it piddled with rain!

Ah good. You’ll have fun. Even if it’s a warm day, take a shawl, jacket because it’ll get cold up there on that rock after dark.
