Year 3 DD moving to independent school

My DD is studying year 3 in a state school at north of Bristol. We are about to start exploring near by independent schools. Could someone share some opinions regarding the following schools?

  • Silverhill (Winterbourne)
  • Tockington Manor School
  • Redmaids
  • Badminton

Many thanks!

My daughter (older than your DD) goes to Badminton (after a state primary) and we (and she) absolutely adore it. It's small, the teachers really get to know the individual child, the grounds and facilities are wonderful, the class sizes tiny, the breadth of subjects on offer is great, masses of extra curricular, great sport facilities with an all singing and dancing new sport centre half way complete, lots of local Bristol girls plus lots from all over the world makes for a really interesting mix. I would urge you to go to an open day and judge for yourself, I genuinely have nothing negative to say. Happy if you have some specific questions if you want to PM.
