Afternoon tea in Orpington / Bromley area

Looking for a fantastic afternoon tea as a special treat for my aunt on a Wednesday. Price is no object. Just needs to be within 15 to 20 minutes drive of Orpington, Kent. And I'd like it to be really special. I live far away so have to go on recommendations.

Hello! Just saw your message. Try "the Teashop" in Downe (picturesque village about 15 minute drive from Orpington). Best scones I've tasted (even compared to Claridges!), and very reasonable to boot.

Sorry, me again. Doesn't have the wow factor of a Mayfair establishment, but the scones are truly amazing.
