Woodcraft Folk is an inclusive nationwide organisation and registered charity our groups aim to improve young people's confidence and explore and experience the natural and social world around us. Every week thousands of volunteers and young people meet in school halls, community venues and a host of other places to learn about big ideas through fun activities like singing, camping, playing and debating.
There are Woodcraft Folk groups all over the UK of young people who meet every week and through indoor and outdoor activities, singing, discussions and challenges explore big ideas like cooperation, climate change, peace, fair trade, recycling etc.
We are hoping to start a group meeting weekly in May at Paston and Gunthorpe community centre. The group will be a pioneer group and aimed at children 9-12. We are hoping to meet Wednesday evenings. We are looking for young people to join our group and also for any parents who would like to be involved also.
If you (or your young person) is interested please respond on here or email me at [email protected]
