Woodcraft Folk is an inclusive nationwide organisation and registered charity our groups aim to improve young people's confidence and explore and experience the natural and social world around us. Every week thousands of volunteers and young people meet in school halls, community venues and a host of other places to learn about big ideas through fun activities like singing, camping, playing and debating.

Cambridge Woodcraft folk have many groups of young people who meet every week and through indoor and outdoor activities, singing, discussions and challenges explore big ideas like cooperation, climate change, peace, fair trade, recycling etc.

We have just started a new group for 10-12 year olds in Eddington at Storey's Field community centre and will meet every Wednesday evening 5:30-7pm. Would be great if any new members would like to join us or get in touch if you are in a different part of Cambridge as we have groups across the city for children birth - 16.

I wish there was one in colchester. I used to love woodcraft folk when I was a kid, but dont have the time or skills to run a group myself

I believe there is a group starting up in Wivenhoe if this is close to you. I will find details of who is best to contact and maybe you could get in touch.

I know there used to be one in brightlingsea, but it was for the wrong age group and I think its closed now
