The green bus company reviews.

hello everyone,
My son got a place in one of the grammar school in west midlands and i was looking at the green bus company to arrange travelling for him. ( it's 40 minutes drive one way on no traffic or busy times)
www.thegreenbus.co.uk/
Does anyone have any experience good or bad about this buses and how reliable are they?
I always had to drove him and his siblings to school as we live a bit far from the school they are going so they don't have experience about travelling in buses. ( not proud of it, but sometimes you have to do the best for that time)
My main concern is the reliability as i do not want him to wait even 1/2hr in a bus stop alone until the bus comes or even worse no bus at all if the school unexpectedly closed halfway through and while we both at work.
I tried to look for some reviews and cannot seems to find any.
Any advice review is mostly appreciated.
Thank you!

My son uses the green bus (has done since last Sept). It’s always on time in the morning but then we are one of the earlier stops. It leaves school at the same time every day but obviously the length of the journey is variable depending on traffic.

A couple of times he’s left bags on the bus and they’ve been returned the next morning. It’s safe and reliable as a first step for children who’ve not used a bus before. It’s expensive though so we’re going I use public transport next year.

We don't use Green Bus, as it doesn't come where we live (DD gets public bus). However, when the snow was bad, and the public buses couldn't run up to school.. the green bus company came before end of school, and ran all those children that got the public bus down to the end of the route where the bus could begin, then came back to school and took all the green bus children home. Pretty decent, if you ask me!

I would also say, though, that if your child does a lot of after-school extra-curricular activities, then they will miss the green bus, as they leave about 15-20 minutes after the end of school. That said, DD's school schedule the vast majority at lunchtime so that pupils can go home at reasonable times. (Fw)
