Ipswich High School (was IHSG) - thoughts?!

We're looking at IHS for DD (reception) and DS (nursery). Have read the press reports about uproar over change to co-ed and the drop in numbers...any insider's knowledge on it all? Do you think the school will survive or is it destined for closure?

We have reasons not to consider Ipswich School or Woodbridge or other local independents, so they aren't an option.

Any info appreciated...what the head's like, anything about the financial stability nog the school etc.

Hmm, not sure. Worked there in summer camp when it was all girls. Lovely location.

Out of curiosity which school did you go with in the end? I’m currently deciding between ipswich high school and Ipswich school and would appreciate any advice.
