30th Birthday venue hire

Hi All,

I need to hire a venue in either Brighton or Hove for my 30th Birthday. Prob be 30-40 people.

I've tried Hixon Green but they ask for £750 up front and I just don't have that money, and also it seems very rude to ask my guests to contribute when some of them don't even drink.

Anyway, has anyone used a venue in Brighton or Hove that they would suggest?

I hired the upstairs of Temple Bar on Western Road. It was about £80 pounds, no frills, but it had a bar and fit in at least 30 people.
