BGS vs Red Maids'

My daughter has been offered a place in reception at both BGS and Red Maids'. So hard to know which school to choose. She loved both.
She is a bright, sociable and confident young girl with a wonderful imagination.
I love the 'homely' feel of RedMaids' junior School and was impressed by the staff, children and facilities at both schools,
When I read old posts on FB and mumsnet people always comment that BGS is boy dominated and very pushy which worries me.
Anyone any experience?

What year is she going into? Having seen both schools I preferred Red Maids but we picked Badminton in the end. There were bits of Red Maids I loved, the library and the dinner hall but I thought some of the class rooms and sports facilities in need of a bit of an update. Plus it's pretty big now it's merged with Redland High, not sure how that has impacted class sizes? I guess it also depends on if you and your DD prefer all girls or mixed

She will be going into reception.
It is a really tough decision as impressed by both schools. My dd has a brother which I think makes us favour BGS.
Very happy with all girl education (I went to all girls secondary) I presumed by dd would also go to all girls secondary and she might well do, just not sure how I feel about all girls from reception.
What did you prefer RMS to BGS?

BGS might be easier with a boy to think about. I preferred RM but I did look at it before the merger with RH so I don't know how that has impacted the school
