Swimming

Morning all!
I am looking for swimming pools/classes in Liverpool that I can take my little one to if anyone has any suggestions please?
I’m in Everton, little boy is only a couple weeks old so not ready yet but want to know where to go when the time is right. I’ve looked at Lifestyles gyms but it just says ‘public swim’. I don’t fancy ‘Water Babies’ classes yet as they are quite expensive and I just want somewhere we can have a little splash and play.

Everton children's centre has a lovely baby pool, really warm with great family changing facilities. You need to book a session in advance though. I think they have splash and play sessions there too. Peter Lloyds in Tuebrook also has splash and play on a Wednesday morning for £2 a session which is really good too. I tried waterbabies and it really wasn't for us - much happier with the more relaxed and cheaper sessions organised by the children's centres!
