Hi there! I am looking to buy in Ely but don't know the city very well - what areas are considered the most desirable and what areas should I avoid? I've heard that the New Barns Road area has a reputation as being a bit less nice, and I've read some stories about muggings etc. a little further south towards New Barns Avenue - should I just consider avoiding the whole of that central north part of town?? Thanks in advance :)
