Hello,

I am sharing with you a class in Leeds which can be helpful for new mums who need to gently return to exercise to help them restore their core function. This class is designed specifically to be helpful to you. People with diastasis recti are welcome.

This is the class information:
Core Check Up is aimed at those who are not sure of the how, what, where, when of core stability and for those who could use more practice at actively engaging and building awareness of their core.

It is a one-hour monthly class which aims to acquaint you with your core muscles, educate you in how to engage them effectively and to provide you with take away tips for maintaining core stability during everyday activities.

Post-natal women are encouraged to attend to help gently re-engage core muscles and rebuild core stability after pregnancy.
This class is also beneficial for those who participate regularly in activities requiring efficient movement and balance such as running, dancing and many sports (so spouses are welcome too!)

Using techniques to activate your core muscles you will learn the sensation of core engagement and then build your core strength through safe Pilates exercises.

This class is your monthly check in with your core, your breathing and your posture. Taking the time to get to know your core can reap the rewards of better posture, movement and breathing.
