Researchers at Middlesex University are asking local parents to enrol babies in an exciting psychology research project funded by the British Academy, which investigates how sound affects the perception of images and how this develops from infancy.

If you have a baby between 4 and 9 months of age please come to take part in a simple and short study which involves listening to musical sounds and watching a short videos or images.

Only ONE 20-min visit to the babyLab will be required. All parents who will decide to participate with their children will receive £10 Amazon voucher!

The research is conducted at Middlesex University's Hendon campus, Hatchcroft building. Car park space can be booked if needed and baby changing facilities are available on site.

Parents will be welcomed in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere in the babyLab and babies will stay with parents at all times. We have prepared a short video available on our Facebook page to show you how the visit to the babyLab looks like! www.facebook.com/148616615686238/videos/208256109722288/

Research on early development can only progress with the help of parents - we hope to hear from you soon!

To take part and for more information, please contact the project’s research assistant , Tatiana Sobolewska ([email protected]) or the Principal Investigator, Dr Fabia Franco ([email protected])
