Year 10 work experience

I'm trying to help my son find a work experience placement for the beginning of July for two weeks. We thought we had something sorted but it's fallen through and the school deadline is looming.

I will obviously help him email local businesses and ask about the possibility of a placement, but I know that some companies/organisations have very good organised schemes and I wondered if anyone had any experience of any of these.

Does it have to be in Cambridge? My ds did a placement at Papworth Trust and loved it.

What is your ds interested in?

Thanks Emma I'd assumed that it would be at Papworth which is the opposite side of Cambridge from us (Fulbourn), but a quick google tells me that it's actually near Babraham/Sawston which actually would be great. I'll have a look. Thanks again.

My ds did it at Papworth which is where they have their main office but if they have an office near you that night be worth trying.
My other ds did a placement at one of the uni college libraries which he enjoyed, but it was very quiet! Suited him though.
