St Georges school for girls

Hi
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of St George’s? I am thinking of sending my daughter there for P6. She is currently at a co-ed school in Edinburgh but I have been impressed by the class sizes and the pastoral care on offer at St G’s. Thanks.

We had a look around st their last open day and were very impressed. Not sure we can afford it so unlikely to move forward with a place but I thought it was s great school and liked how the junior school connects to senior. I would recommend getting in touch and booking to go for a tour. I know a few friends with girls there and a few of the teaching staff it’s a great school

We looked at it for dd a while back but were concerned about the GCSEs and A levels in a number of subjects and preferred the broader Scottish curriculum so decided against it. I don't know if that is still the case so worth checking

Hi,

I have twin daughters in Remove (P7) at St George's. This is by far the best school they've ever attended and they've had to move all over the world for my husband's work.

GCSE's are still done but they do Highers and Advanced Highers.
