Morning everybody!
I just wanted to raise awareness of our community centre which is near Birkenhead Park. We're called BEE Wirral and we're in the Livingstone Street Community centre, (which funnily enough is actually on St Anne Street!), just a short walk from Birkenhead Park station.
We run various baby groups and courses including music and rhyme, sensory, we have an infant massage course, a baby dance course and even a dad dancing course. Most of our sessions are drop-ins, our social group on Wednesday is completely free, the other sessions are £2.50, and our courses are £20 for 5 weeks.
We also have a food co-op which is open most days from 9.30 - 3.30, you can get a bag of food for £3 (suggested donation), and no referral is needed and no questions are asked as it is a co-op not a food bank.
We're looking for ideas to help working parents too. We would love to get more people into the centre and do what we can to help everyone in Birkenhead.
