Kiwi Mumsnetters?

Hello! I'm a mumsnetter based in NZ and there have been a couple of times I've wanted to start threads about NZ politics, or local events or issues but I didn't think anyone else would know or care what I was talking about. I have seen one or two mumsnetters with NZ links about in the last wee while though so I'll be brave....

So, here goes. How are we all feeling about the New Year? Enjoying summer? Feeling good about this new coalition government? Finding it hard to believe school is still a month away?

That storm looks a bit scary. I saw some of the pics of the swell at Piha on the news...lousy timing as well.

Going to give this a wee bump, just in case any other Kiwi mumsnetters are out there.

That storm up north is looking really scary now. Hope you're all keeping safe!
