Hello!
I'm planning to move from London to Hitchin with my husband and 2 months old baby.
We've seen a house that we like on Chaucer Way and I wanted to check what people think of that neighbourhood? We know it's ex-council and the buildings are non-traditional prefabricated concrete (which is OK, the banks are OK to mortgage the house) and to be honest the neighbourhood doesn't look that great with the grey facades. Does anyone know what it's like to live there? Are there young families around? How about catchment for primary schools?
