I'm really struggling to access support for my son at university. He's only 70 miles away from home, but with his misunderstanding of what he's achieved in 2 and a half years has brought him to breaking point. I would prefer he stayed home for the final 4 months and seek medical help for his issues. I would happily drive him to lectures, but obviously this is not an option as it is not in his plan or routine.
I am really afraid for his mental health, and scared of many of the choices he has been making, from alcohol to smoking.
Please someone tell me there is help available for vunerable young adults at university.
He also lost his DLA a year ago, which make him feel his ASD has gone.
