Learning Sites

Hi Moms

I have a daughter who is in year2 and is attending a state school. I personally feel the homework given in state schools is very less and my daughter needs more practise at home. I was considering subscribing to a learning site which can help her. I wanted to know from you moms on how useful do you find learning sites are in a child’s development and also can you please recommend a good learning site

Not convinced by learning sites myself. Think you'd probably be better of doing additional enriching work with your DD, or employing a tutor (if the former option doesn't appeal).

If you are specifically interested in learning sites though, would suggest you post on the main site Talk board (under primary school education) - you'll probably access a broader range of views/experience over there.

Hi Teddygirlonce

Thanks for responding to my query. I agree with you a personal tutor is much better option. Do you have recommendation for any local tutor .
